Average Transaction Value (ATV)
This is a `metric-based` term. One of the many marketing and sales metrics businesses use to assess the outcome of their efforts.
A retail store computes ATV by dividing the total revenue generated in a month by the number of transactions, offering a snapshot of the average value of each sale.
