Net Promoter Score (NPS)
This is a `metric-based` term. One of the many marketing and sales metrics businesses use to assess the outcome of their efforts.
If 70% of respondents are promoters (scoring 9-10), 15% are passives (scoring 7-8), and 15% are detractors (scoring 0-6), the NPS would be +55 (70% - 15%).
