Sales Velocity

This is a `metric-based` term. One of the many marketing and sales metrics businesses use to assess the outcome of their efforts.

If a company closes 10 deals per month, with an average deal size of $5,000 and a win rate of 20%, the sales velocity would be $10,000 per month ($5,000 * 0.2 * 10).

Example:

If a company closes 10 deals per month, with an average deal size of $5,000 and a win rate of 20%, the sales velocity would be $10,000 per month ($5,000 * 0.2 * 10).
