Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)
This is a `metric-based` term. One of the many marketing and sales metrics businesses use to assess the outcome of their efforts.
A software-as-a-service (SaaS) company with 1,000 subscribers paying $50 per month would have an MRR of $50,000.
Example:
